Dear Festival Supporter,

I am sad to announce that the Jackson Hole Film Institute and Jackson Hole Film Festival will no longer be in operation as of today.

Over the past few years, we have been diligently working to raise the money needed to keep this organization running. After several years of trying, it appears that we are no longer able to financially keep this organization afloat. Unfortunately, the current state of the economy further added to our financial demise.

As you are aware, we have been a non-profit organization, fully reliant on donations and sponsorship, and we have been unable to raise the necessary funding to stay in existence.

On behalf of myself, the board and the passionate group of individuals who worked for the Film Institute, thank you for all of your continued support and generosity. It was a pleasure working with each of you and your organizations. We mirror your dedication and support for the arts and your continued investment in film as a medium to make change in society today.

It was an honor and a privilege to create and grow such an exciting institute in Jackson. It is regrettable that we are unable to continue this extension of the arts within the community.
